An angel named Transylvanian Rose gets a crush on this young man (Brian) who commits suicide. But instead of letting his soul get dragged down to Hell, she tears off one of her wings and sticks it on him against his will. The result: he can't be dragged down to Hell, but now she can't go back to Heaven. What follows next is often bitter, morbid, and rather whimsical, involving Brian's multiple suicide attempts as a spirit, and the two of them meeting other lost souls just before they are judged. ~ Eluude

Shigesoshi
Currently running in "Feel Young" magazine, the story is centered around one of the few embalmers, or morticians, in Japan, Mamiya Shinjurou. After working with the dead, he craves body heat. He gets his fix by sleeping with beautiful women, causing tension between him and his friend, a spunky woman named Natsui Azuki.

It's slightly romantic, without being cloyingly sweet, angsty and all-around good. Not as much EGL styled clothing on the characters, but still absolutely charming. ~bombaynyanko
